Air Systems

The twin motors incorporate internal thermal protection against extreme temperature damage while a heavy duty in-line maxi fuse for each motor provides professional circuit protection. Across all of our compressor systems offer an air outlet for tyre inflation and utilising onboard air for other air tool needs.

VIAIR’s Dual Performance Value Packs are the perfect choice when you need a heavy duty air compressor system to power your air suspension kit, air horns and most off-road air needs. Each of VIAIR’s Dual Performance Value Packs includes two of the most popular heavy duty air compressors and all of the necessary compressor installation hardware to make these dual air compressor kits an ideal solution for a wide variety of applications. We generally use VIAIR for Chassis mount applications such as Chev, Ram, F Trucks and any of the chopped vehicles modified at EC Offroad. The Viair compressors are all water proof and work extremely well in offroad environments, which makes them a perfect fit for all touring, offroad and larger than life applications.

Majority of our builds when receiving air compressor installs, will also be paired up with an air tank of some form. If it’s a twin Viair compressor system mounted under a tray/ canopy or chassis mount, we will provide a minimum of a 3 Gallon Spun alloy tank, and have the ability to add multiple tanks when requiring more air for things such as all round air bag replacement systems. These air tanks are rust free and can be exposed to the elements without any worries.

When it comes to air distribution and controls systems, we have used and tested multiple systems and pushed them to through their paces until we landed on the best systems available on the market that we can rely on and know inside and out.

When it comes to load assist units, in most cases we will be using the air bag man AC3052 Dual Rocker Air Control Kit that comes as a Valve block designed to control 2 air bags to be inflated and deflated. The switches can be generally mounted in the glove box or centre console of the vehicle, within reach of the driver and paired up with a Digital Pressure Monitoring gauge to monitor the air pressure in each air bag.

The other options available when using onboard air bags front and rear is the Accuair E-Level system that comes in an app form that is controlled from your phone, or can be used by a touch pad control system mounted near the drivers seat along with gauges to monitor both front and rear air bags while driving.
